Terre Blanche - 18-Sep-05 02:51 AM
It's unfortunate that many observers miscontrue commentary for propaganda. It is my opinion that, in a similar vein to Whitehouse, the same is true here.
They were one of the few acts and labels to notice the rise of the South African AWB and Terre Blanche outside of that country and, I think, commented on it in a nature as extreme as the topic itself.
It is ironic that purely reactionary releases with racist titles (in the other direction) are allowed and seen as anti-racist.
Many topics of a taboo nature have been dealt with in an extreme way, such as AWB here, but unfortunately the point is missed by many.

Beastie Boys - Some Old Bullshit - 14-May-03 09:10 PM
Tracks 1-10 is classic 80s hardcore. By that I mean punk, not disco music!
Always thought Cooky Puss 12" was nothing but bland transition material.....

For more of the hardcore material check out "Aglio E Olio". It's bloody marvellous!

Leibstandarte SS MB - Triumph Of The Will - 29-Apr-03 06:58 PM
"William Bennet told me - in 81, the first and last time I met him - that Steve Stapleton drew up a "joke" contract for him giving Maurizio absolutely no rights to the recording in any way whatever ever, which Maurizio happily signed."
- Nigel Ayres of Nocturnal Emissions.

Various - Neuengamme - 27-Feb-03 11:47 AM
This album was the first release on Broken Flag, featuring various artists in the noise/power-electronics vein. It was subsequently "reissued" (or more accurately, bootlegged) by Remote Control. The original Broken Flag issue features a plain white sleeve with a a photocopied sheet of dead people (possibly Jews?) in a barn pasted on the front. The Remote Control reissue comes in a black sleeve with a hand x-ray photograph on the cover (similar to the first Faust LP).

System Planning Korporation* - Information Overload Unit - 24-Feb-03 10:59 PM
These were made by Mike Wilkins, former member, who sold them through Garageland Records, Bristol in the early 90s and was, to my knowledge, the only port of distribution for this issue.
