Revox - Sysex - 18-Jul-08 03:13 PM
Absolutely one of my all time favourite record.

Vibe is a track that is kinda uptempo ,in my opinion one of the 1st psycore tracks. Its because the tempo is about 170 bpm that classifies this one hardcore ,or else it could fit in the trance section. When the organlike stream is set in during the 1st break backed up by the bassline it's like a wall of sound that blast its way out of the speakers.
Sysex on the other hand is a combination of slightly happy hardcore backed up by a goa like sound that continues the whole track.I hardly can imagine one will trip away when hearing this loud and clear.Especially when a soft acidloop makes its appearance and swirls around. The percussion is quite soft and that forces the other streams to come out stronger.

The other 2 remaining tracks are well made hardcore but both vibe and sysex I prefer more.

This is one record that is obliged to be in ones collection.

Leviathan - We'll Tear Your Soul Apart - 18-Jul-08 05:40 AM
True brutal hardcorehouse classic ,but made with pure passion. This record was the 1st release brought out on cenobite records and was already giving away a little taste of what kind of label this was to become.

This record contains 3 straight on no bull hardcore. While "we tear your soul apart" is the most famous and the most heard on parties ,the other 2 are as typical as the main track.Yes ,no somewhat lesser brutal while "wrong desicion" bends a bit to the orderly chaotic hardcore. All 3 tracks yet again with unique breaks and buildups ,but we already expect no less by Tellurian aka Leviathan.

If you run into this record ,don't hesitate but buy it ,that will sparkle your interest in this typical label even more.

Tellurian - Get Raw - 15-Jul-08 01:59 PM
What memories I have regarding this record.Digital-overdose 1996 in the "sporthallen-zuid" in Amsterdam.

Tellurian was main live act and for no reason ; the sound he produced was absolutely stunning ! Several tracks including the 4 on mokum 60 and what beatiful sound it produced.

It is a fact that M.Klaassen always knows how to keep the bassline pure and hard whitout overruling the other sounds that makes the track whole. So his trademark goes on on this record and it gave birth to 3 brainblowing hardcoretracks while the 4th track (vortex) is a hardcoretrack with a trancetwist.

Vortex is so well ballanced and so thoughtfully put together ,minding the beat aswell as the 3 differd breaks. If one is using "Vortex" in a mix ,I recommend to wait untill the 3rd break has been played before mixing out ; it is such a waste to leave that particular part away.

Tellurian stands for quality and Mokum 60 is made to play loud !

Tellurian - The Sound Of The Underground - 15-Jul-08 01:33 PM
Yet again 1 hell of a masterpiece ,written & produced by master Klaassen himself.Keeps me wondering how this man's brain looks like and where he keeps producing class records containing such variable tracks. For scientists Einstein was the defenition of supreme intelect ,and for me M.Klaassen is the defenition of true supreme hardcore.Somehow I always felt that this guy was very neglected by the majority of gabbers during the mid '90s and that's a shame.

All 4 tracks are as differend aswell as equal unstoppable hardcore as it should be.I still can't make up my mind what track is best. The tracks including their breaks/buildup/variety are unrevieuwable in my opinion and is best explained when this record is bought so you can judge 4 yourself.I doubt if one is disappointed when this record is purchased.

M.Klaassen alias Tellurian/Leviathan stands for quality hardcore of the 1st degree !

DJ E-Rick & Tactic* - Time To Party E.P. - 26-Jun-08 01:31 PM
The track that still amazes me even nowadays is "Not changed our style".I still don't know if the riddle used in this track is played in 8th or 16th tripletnotes or if it starts and after 4 notes it's turned somehow backwards and using accents.A genius solution in my opinion how to make regular hardcore with a twist none have yet brought out on vinyl.
A remarkable record this one is indeed ,and I still regret that I never heard this one comming loud through the speakers....
