Swayzak - Smile And Receive - 15-Oct-08 11:53 AM
This records is just fantastic! I love all of these tracks, but if i must do a chart, this should be like this: first of all, the original mix. its sound is very clear and unique, and the vocal part is very melodic, almost melanchonic (actually is one of the best song to sing in the shower). The second place is taken by the Apparat mix. Its very deep, very Apparat style. The vocal here is stringed and repeated very well. After it comes the Richard Davis rework. Mr. Davis here made an insane remix, almost making another track, leaving the deep side of this track away. The last position is taken by the Cassy Beatmix, a remix that extrapolate only the tech beats and a very little vocal part in a brilliant way. 5/5 for this record, good job Swayzak (and all of their friend).
Radio Slave - Grindhouse (Remixes) - 11-Oct-08 11:03 AM
IMHO this is one of the best REKIDS release so far. The Dubfire remix is brilliant, bringing more rhythm and a darker feeling. The Danton Eeprom Vocal Version is pratically the same as the original version, with little vocal parts. Now lets talk about my favourite one: the Terence Fixmer Remix! This one drew my attention since the first time i heard it. It brings more rhythm, more sounds, more and more to the original sound, its almost another track. Very good.
