Anthony Rother - Don't Stop The Beat - 30-Oct-09 11:30 PM
Like a swarm of Darleks & bees inside a wonky drum machine, this is Anthony Rothers finest point. A fine balance between electro, nasty tech beats, melodys, chords and DRAMA, dont forget the drama of this track. The sleemless breakdowns take you by surprise, but fit so nicely into the balance of the overall track. Hats off Mr Rother. Ontop of all that he gives you all the option to be able to mix this into anything you like with, vocoder options, instrumentals and the like. Why dont producers think about the theatrics of the playing of a track anymore? It even reminds me a little of Mr Mad Mike Banks (Hats off to you also Mr Banks) There is so much soul in this record, and I dont mean the kind of soul you are thinking of, I mean you can hear how committed Anthony was to making the record he wanted. A Pioneer and will be remembered in my mind at least forever. I still remember almost every time I played this record and the response it got. Classic

You should not purchase this record is it clearly is not one produced by the man himself.
Second rate and not in the spirit of letting artists make their music their own way.
Its not like it too hard to find Kennys music out there, why feel the need to rip and plunder his talents for the progression of your own bank account? This is the kind of stuff that makes these artists truly think about this industry and whether they want to be part of it, it shows little respect and even less thought. If you have an issue with the amount of music Kenny is putting out into the marketplace have the balls to contact him directly and ask for his reasons (Not that you should have to, but if thats what it takes to make you think about what you are doing, then proceed). For the rest of us, you are just taking the underground music scene to new depths (And not in a good way) wake up and start producing something interesting yourself, or if you cant do that just go away.
Poor form
