Reviews & Discussion:

As Acid Turns still jacks the box 20-some years later!!
A true classic... :)
I played this during the solar eclipse years ago and it was the perfect soundtrack for the event.
If you ever witness one: this is your music!
Playing it now on the hottest day of the year and it still stands like it did all those years ago.
An album never to be forgotten...
What a mix!
What I really like is that the mix never leaves the dub-tech genre.
Usually DJ's shift to techno or (worse even) dubstep.

A great selection of artists, avoiding the obvious picks.
Personal highlight: M06A vs Reverberation... Wow!

Strip down your music in order to create an ambient version of your album.
What a great idea. And what a great result.
Hopefully more people will adopt this.

The two Echospace remixes that follow are brilliant as always.
Ghosts from the past hauting you and giving you grief and comfort at the same time.
The first thing that crossed my mind was: don't play this on your visit to "The Shining"-hotel.
To find out later that this movie was one of his inpirations. Brilliant!
It's the first time I've heard anything by The Caretaker and I'm really hoping the rest of his work will be as good as this one.

Do While opened up my ears for the 10+ years of clicks & glitch that followed,
yet I've never heard another track in the genre that even came close the beauty of this gem.
Classic!
Bogdan Raczynski - Samurai Math Beats Jan 08, 2006 (edited over 6 years ago)
Outrageous Drum 'n' Bass with cheesy kung-fu samples and funny melodies. Add Bogdan's hilarious vocals and we got ourselves a release only Rephlex gets away with.

Electronic beats forming intelligent structures with beautiful [dissonant] melodies. Constantly reshaping, so it never becomes boring. The shifting from breakbeat to speedy IDM in the track "Fondue" is mindblowing... Merck at it's best~!
