He has evolved with the music over the years seeing hardcore go to ragga, to the emergence of drum n bass as we know it today. Always one to please a crowd, he definitely keeps things on the darker tip but never forgets to keep the basslines grooving. Over the years his playing style has taken him from Philadelphia outlaws, to places as far away as Detroit, SF, and even Caracas, Venezuela. Lixx held down a residence at Swingsett’s Testpress Sunday @ Drinkland with DJ Egres in NYC and worked at Throb, Breakbeat Science, and finally as the drum n bass/breaks buyer for Satellite Records. It's 2008 and I've finally been re-united with 80% of my record collection (still have 4-5 boxes in storage). I'm selling off records I won't use again and getting back into spinning again. One of Photek's best records was the first Form & Function 12". The "Operations Officer, Special Forces" sample is actually a introduction line Harrison Ford utters in the beginning of Apocolypse Now.
