DJ'ing
In the beginning of the summer of 2005, I started buying records, mostly Electro. I learned how to mix with my Electro records for about half a year, until I decided I wanted to play Techno. That style gave me more freedom in what I wanted to do. I began playing Hardgroove/Tribal Techno but slowly evolved towards softer styles like Detroit, Chicago, Acid,.. Pretty much everything that sounds raw and has an oldskool feel to it.
Every month I'll try to pick some of the new releases that are worth buying in my opinion.

Reviews:
Joris Voorn - Coming From The Shower After A Late Night With A Failed Date - 24-Jun-06 04:29 AM
Indeed, Joris Voorn did it again! This one is (again)amazing! On the A-side we have 'MPX_309'. You might think that that track is simple, with it's standard bassline and not quite original Detroit percussion, but wait until you see what it does to a crowd: it makes them go crazy! On the B-side we find a more deep and melodic piece of work. Beautiful Detroit-like synth-stabs and a deep, roaring bassline. Definitly not bad, but less effective on dancefloors.
Danilo Vigorito - Imaginary Boy EP 2 - 22-Jun-06 11:24 AM
I just love this record! In my opinion it's one of Danilo Vigorito's finest releases. All tracks on this release are very good to sick, and particulary Tobecon. It has a strong, deep,.. simply amazing bassline which really makes you move when it suddenly makes it's entry in a DJ set on a moment you wouldn't expect it. Simply amazing..
Joey Beltram - The Alien Chamber (Beyonder Part 2) - 21-Jun-06 08:13 AM
This is another typical Joey Beltram release. It has the (little overused) bassline, nice oldskool percussion, great feeling.. simply everything you can expect from him. Although I think Joey Beltram should try something new these days, because all of his records really start to sound like eachother. It might make people think: 'If I have one Joey Beltram record, why buy the others? They're all the same anyway.'
Well, they might be right in some way, but however: it works fine on many, many dancefloors, so why not play it? (And play it loud!)
