Winx* - Don't Laugh - 24-Oct-06 12:42 PM
While the original track really hit the street, the rest of this release doesnt contain much to make it live forever as a whole. Nowadays i can only play the short version - if at all.
Wink* - 20 To 20 - 09-Oct-06 06:28 AM
Well, indeed. "It happens to have the same cat. number". In fact the albums name is 20 to 20 - and such give 12 and 8 to have 20 like 20. i like the concept and its maybe some of the best works Josh Wink has ever done. Highly enjoyable for 303 lovers.
Makai - Millennium - 08-Oct-06 07:33 AM
This release would not make any sense to a virgin customer if there wasnt the "Beneath The Mask" remix of Kenji Kawaiis Ghost In The Shell soundtrack, which is awesome in the original but being kicked by a drum and bass line here. Black Belt 2nd Dan is also very good. The other tracks are not my cup of tea.
Justin Berkovi - Passion - 08-Oct-06 07:33 AM
this is one of the most beautiful original techno i ever met. it is full of the original funky disco roots that once only the giants like Juan Atkins did. Though Berkovi is already known a bit i feel he is still underscored.
If you want a comparison to understand the sound, just take the infiniti collection of Atkins and add the best of Kanzleramt. You should expect a techno disc that is full of flower from the very first to the last second. no single miss here.
And one overwhelming dynamic through the album.
Evergreen.
Beak (2) - El Hacedor EP - 15-Sep-06 12:53 PM
El Hacedor made its way from the Project 168 (netlabel in the most free form imaginable) - to the Monotonik Netlabel. The transfer as such, as well as the form of the Project and the resonance and response to and around Beak are unique to the very moment.
Finally id like to add, that Beak is a funny entertaining multimedia genius for those interested into his style.
