Profile: Mezabel is an independent record store operating out of Melbourne, Australia. Our collection is marketed for DJ's and collectors of dance music vinyl. We have been established since 2003 and specialise in new and rare house, funk and disco vinyl.

We add new and second hand stock to our range daily and also have a website outside of discogs.

Alternatively, if you're after something we haven't got listed here, feel free to contact us and we'll do our best to source it for you.

The minimum information we require to get a response from us for a ‘crate dig’ is: artist, title, remix (and if possible, label and catalogue number) We will not respond to any queries without this basic information (artist, title, remix)

Please DO NOT ask for full MP3's of our titles as refusal often offends. We support the artists and the industry who press their work to wax and sell their mp3’s legally. All items listed here are currently for sale and we have a 99% accuracy of availablity. We do not offer a track ID service as we do not have many resources for this service.

We have audio clips for some of our titles and they can be supplied upon request. If there's no clip there, ask us nicely and we'll see what we can do.

Enjoy your day and good luck finding what you're after!

Thanks for checking out Mezabel – Australia’s best range of new and second hand house and disco online.

Tantra (2) - The Hills Of Katmandu (The Patrick Cowley Megamix) - 17-Jul-08 06:43 PM
This is possibly one of the best dance compositions ever. Hypnotic, sensual, sexy, classy, classic - all in one. A true hybrid of disco, electro, tribal, trance and techno all in the one record.
This song was way ahead of it's time and one of Patrick Cowley's most outstanding pieces of work. It's amazing the interest that is now being generated in this track, 25 years after it's original production.
If there was a song to be voted as the most influential track in dance music history, this would be a very serious contender for the top spot.
