Loco Dice - 7 Dunham Place
Feb 19, 2009
I didn't know until later, that 7 Dunham Place, is a place in New York where the album was made, and the album cover is the graffiti-scrawled door of their recording studio. It looks kind of hip pop, to me, just like the tracks have a somewhat old school, funky style. At the same time this is a straight up, dirty record, Dice adds that slick, contemporary European techno feeling to it. La Esquina as an example, classic piano house meets minimal techno, this is one of the best "crossover" works. | ||||
