Profile: I'm a hardstyle & hard trance (and hard acid trance) DJ from new jersey. I really, really love vinyl and have been steadily buying as much as I can since I began to DJ since 2003. As I said I'm really into hard trance and hardstyle, and I have a special place in my heart for hard acid trance (303 mmmm.)

I used to be really active in the scene but since I started working full time I have made it simply a hobby. I don't buy records anymore but I love the ones I have (well most of them.)

Brain Recordings Oct 09, 2009
This is not light stuff they make. But it's SO different than most of the stuff out there and they really understand how to take the 303 synth and make a great 'melody' out of it. Their tracks are full of dark energy and great, original samples. This music is DARK and will satisfy anyone who loves hard beats, acid riffs, and that touch of evil to their songs. I own so many of these records and absolutely love them. They might not be the easiest to mix into other tracks but it's so fun to sneak them into your sets. I'm really sad they stopped making them- they are my favorite label.
My favorite song is actually #30- Brain Train. I also particularly love #39 Bad Boy and #41- Open the Door. GENIUS.
SMF - Come & Play Nov 02, 2005 (edited over 4 years ago)
Produced by Smureff who usually does hardstyle, this record is actually not that, but hard trance. It has a beautiful melody and a (thankfully) unique sample. It is also made in such a way that you can mix out of it very cleanly.
Scot Project* - A1 Jul 29, 2005 (edited over 4 years ago)
This is really a great buy for any DJ! for $20 or $25 you get all these great songs. Only 2 songs are put on each side of the vinyl so the quality is good. Highlights of this 2x12 set include N (No Rougher), I (Need You) and the 2005 Album Rmx of the classic U. For those who don't already have them, it's also a great way to pick up some other Scot Project classics, L, FM3, and O. Scot Project knows what he's doing not only when he's DJ'ing, but he's one of the best hard trance producers ever. This album is a must have for any hard trance DJ.
Brain 24* - Feedback Destroyer Aug 31, 2004 (edited over 5 years ago)
This is a good song but not one of Brain's best. It doesn't have a driving energy and doesn't do much to stand out. however it doesn't use any samples from past Brain productions (I love originality!) and the sample (play the vocal mix people!) is really sick. Nice acid riff too.
Überdruck - Drugface Aug 31, 2004 (edited over 5 years ago)
Drugface is definitely one of the best tracks released on Uberdruck. It's got a very unique sound to it and a really sick melody. I love everything produced by these guys but this one really stands out as a classic. So much fun to spin...It has a lot of energy.
Great song, every time I spin it people ask if it's Prodigy. I love the Trance Generators so something produced by one half of the team isn't going to disappoint me. Both sides are different enough so you don't feel silly playing them in consecutive sets. The vinyl I have though, is a baby-pink, not purple.
One of tuneboy's (technoboy, dj gius, see his other aliases) earlier releases I think...this is a very very simple track. I always spin the Dj Vince mix and it can be a fun record if you combine it with the other record you are spinning for a few minutes, due to the ever-changing bassline and kicks. Just make sure this record is not louder than your currently playing one, or it will sound wrong when you do this.
Yoji Biomehanika Jan 02, 2004
Yoji is one of my favorite producers and djs...he is brilliant..Almost all of his productions include some incredibly beautiful melody that just hits you. In addition to his prettier songs, he has remixed some real nasty tracks!
As for his mixing, he's just great. Very high energy and he uses some creative tricks as well.
I would love to see him spin live someday...meanwhile i'll just let my yoji-vinyl collection grow...
One of Yoji's classic tracks...It's such a crazy song with crazy vocal samples! The melody is just sick...it's just one of Yoji's best. I don't care if it's from 1999, i spin my copy a lot.
The melody on this record is EXACTLY the same as the one in Energy 52-Cafe Del Mar.
