Profile: Hello!-(I do not sell records from my personal collection and the only mp3 trading I do is for dj mixes, not copies of my vinyl, sorry!) My name is Melissa Houser or Dj Miss Houser if you prefer(yes it is my real name! =) ) and I am from the SF bay area. I spin house music, house is my LIFE and have been spinning since I was 17 years old.SF house is a big inspiration to me. I also of course love many different styles of music as well. But,in true househead form, I have a strong dislike for trance (aside from a couple of old school classics) On a seperate note, If you are interested in dj mix trading, I have over a thousand dj mixes (1,085 as of 05.05.08 and it grows everyday!),so if you are interested in doing any tape/mp3 dj mix trades and have a dj mix that I don’t own, I have many RARE Dj Mixes for you to choose from (most have been converted into mp3 format and if not, they are still in there old school tape format). The mixes I am interested in for myself are mainly doc martin, dj dan (old sets), spun, tony, and many others.

'Spirit Celebration' is nothing but a work of art. It has enchanting tribal vocals decorated with a spiritual deep house edge. This is one of my favorite house music anthems from the early nineties. It is also a pretty rare find, so if you see it, grab it!!
Wow....this track truly is a gem. I got the privilege of speaking with the creators of this miracle on wax to see if they could get me a copy, even THEY didn't have any spares lying around! They did eventually help me get one however =) This track has an amazing layout. It starts off with hypnotizing symbols and a robotic voice that sounds somewhat like its saying 'yea ... yea...yea' over and over and rolls into a combination of loud claps and what reminds me of a machine gun going off. Then it totally changes around at the end and has a dark almost Latin guitar riff in it to finish it off. This track is somewhat dark, deep, techy and a little hard. Its impossible to put it into one category. This record might be my favorite house record of all time. If you should see it, I guarantee its worth grabbing!
