Reviews & Discussion:

Colour Haze - Tempel Jun 15, 2011
If you are looking for a nice kick ass Stoner album to chill to, Tempel is it. Every track is EPIC. The album flows beautifully from start to finish. Light up, sit back and enjoy this stoner ride. 86/100
Gas Giant - Pleasant Journey In Heavy Tunes Jun 15, 2011 (edited 11 months ago)
Fantastic album by Stoner GIANTS Gas Giant. Too Stoned the 1st track is sets the tone for this fuzzfest. My personal favorite is track 8, Storm Of My Enemies. 82/100
Styx's Paradise Theater is loaded with classics such as Rockin' The Paradise, Too Much Time On My Hands, Nothing Ever Goes As Planned and Best Of Times but even the tracks you hardly eve hear are pretty cool. Lonely People and Snowblind are also kick ass tunes. Over all I think this is Styx 2nd best album and a true Classic. She Cares is Probably the weakest track on Paradise Theater. 84/100
Rush - Signals Jan 30, 2011
Rush has put out some classic albums and Signals is no different. You really hear this band progressing soundwise on Signals. IMO there are no weak tracks on this one. My personal favorites include Chemistry, The Weapon, Losing It and Countdown. 81/100
Seamount - ntodrm Jan 28, 2011
Seamount's S/T debut is a nice blend of Stoner/Doom Metal. Nice smooth riffage to toke to. The opening track Sleeping Wizard sets the stage for this monster of an album. Other tracks to check out include just about the whole album. Tears of a Giant is another epic song. 86/100
Solitude Aeturnus - Beyond The Crimson Horizon Jan 26, 2011 (edited about 1 year ago)
After a savage debut titled Into The Depths Of Sorrow, Solitude Aeturnus comes back with another Traditional Doom album of incredible depth and magnitude. The opening track Seeds of the Desolate sets the stage for the crushing ride of Doom. A MUST HAVE for all Metalheads. 95/100
Thrash legends Sodom are back with their 16th full length release. What an awesome surprise In War And Pieces turned out to be. This is a solid album all the way through. No filler and no weak tracks. Nothing Counts More Than Blood and Hellfire are my personal favorites. 70/100
Warning hit a home rune with Watching From A Distance. One of the most melancholy pieces of Traditional Doom ever created. An epic journey through your emotions. Intense, soul crushing, depressing. What more can you ask for! I recommend this album for any Trad. Doom fan! 90/100
Ozzy doing Sabbath songs that he did with Sabbath. Decent double live album. Not an essential but if you are an Ozzy fan you should have this. 68/100
Ozzy's sophomore effort, Diary Of A Madman is an EPIC album and I really feel it is much better in all phases than Blizzard. It may not have the "Crazy Train" hit song, but from top to bottom it is just classic. In fact, this is undoubtedly the Ozzman's best solo album. 88/100
