Thomas Bjerring - Stratus

02:45 makes me speechless...This is music that is hard to find, the sound, melody and the heavenly male vocal...Perfect Heaven, a pure classic!!! Such a shame it is so short.
Prey For Peace, this is one of my favorite Techno / Neo-Trance records ever. The melody creates a deep and dreamy mood and it is still energetic enough to move the dancefloor. I played it over and over, and bought me a second copy for my all time favorite collection. Since I heared this record I became a Aril Brikha fan. And after his Winter, For Mother and Room 337 he belongs to my Neo-Trance heros. Also the artwork for this record is amazing, a true collector item!
Mouvement Tronic sounds in many ways like Technasia - Acid Storm. A smashing techno track that brings the crowd alive.Reincarnate starts with a break beat, a nice build up takes you to a pumpin' moment. Translogic starts groovy and has also the Technasia's Acid Storm sound. And don't forget Passer Graphic, also starts groovy but has not that agressive sound like the other 3 tracks. It's got a more epic melody. 4 smashing tracks on 1 EP. The Techno I like!
Still a respected label of the Lightning Records family. Actually there are 3 category's in this label. Some releases are just on Tripomatic, others on Tripomatic Trance or Tripomatic Techno. But it is one and the same label. Many legendary tracks are released on this label, such a shame it had to end.
Global Thinking is personally for me the best track on this 12". It starts with a vocal; a male voice says "All Things Are Conected, Like The Blood Which Unites One Family...". A nice build up brings you to a melodic climax. The other 3 tracks are also great, they all create a eufhoric feeling. Trance at his best! |
