Wow. What can i say about this ep that will do it justice.
Track 1 by Lackluster is what can only be described as beautiful electronic bliss. A nice downbeat groove with layered strings that keep picking you up and taking you off somewhere nicer. Electronica at it's finest.
Track 2 is by Aphlion is another beautifully crafted electro cut with some lovely chiming noises that float all the way through with slowly sweeping synth sounds. This track kind of bubbles along nicely never getting dull. A perfect morning after track for me this one.
Track 3 by Plus One (Plaid) keeps on the same vibe. Nice Synth sounds creating a very lush electronic floaty feel But doesn't seem to have the same welcoming lushness as the previous tracks.
Track 4 by Mystery is dark and dirty down tempo electro. Nice dark synth's and a killer bubbaling acid line that rumbles throughout the track. I love it.
Track 5 is by CiM and this track is another class adventure in to electronic lushness. Strange bleeps and Blops that get dwarfed by a rising orchestra of electronic layered sounds. Very simple really but hits all the right buttons. Quite a short track though which left me feeling a little short changed, kinda hoped i would be taken somewhere else with this one but very good anyway.
There are loads of these ep's for sale at very cheap prices on Discogs. Why i'll never know. Top class electronics.
Digital Underground - Doowutchyalike - 07-Apr-08 07:49 AM
One of my favorite alltime Hip Hop tracks, this track just goes on and on. A perfect party track but you can still listen to when you like, it has very funny lyrics that has still has me laughing everytime i hear it. I love the ooohh samples that get thrown at you all the way through it. A must have for any record collection and a great cover to go with it. One of Digital Undergrounds finest moments and there were many fine moments from these guys.

I love the track "Seasonally Affected" by Panash on this quite unknown record it blew me away when i first heard it, Electro with all the right buttons being pushed. It has beautiful layered synth stabs taking you up and down throughout the whole track and a lovely funky electro beat to keep you on the dance floor. I’ve not heard any other tracks by Panash but if this is the standard I’m in for a treat. First rate stuff. 10/10.
Rude 66 - Overkill - 06-Apr-08 02:30 AM
There is something about Rude 66's release "overkill" that has me putting it on again and again. "Cheesy" my girlfriend once described it and she may be right but for me i love it for what it is, a lovely well put together electro cut that has beautiful strings good lyrics sung by Maya Voorvelt with a simple electro beat and nice floaty feel to it. A feel good track for sure. It would be nice to have Maya sing on more release's, as far as i know this is the only record she has featured on.
Mesak - Modern Stalking - 06-Apr-08 02:20 AM
Agreed, very excellent Electro / Electronica release. The "back to the future" track on side A just ooozzz's electronic funk and is aimed souly at the dance floor. The other 3 tracks are more laid back cuts but all beautifully arranged and lovely to listen to. I love this Mesak release to death and anyone who love's electro with a passion should own this. It will take a long time for it to leave my bag.
