Model 500 - No UFO's - 10-Feb-06 05:48 AM
By the way, we rocked No UFOs in Chicago, it was part of the whole WBMX Hot Mix 5 rotataion (Heck I thought it was an import!) I know techno is its "own thang" but NO UFOSs (an a whole lot more Detroit tracks) were foundational in the Chicago House Music history.

Mayday - Nude Photo '88 - 06-Feb-04 09:55 AM
Now this brings back memories. 1988, graduation year. I ended up djing almost all of the grad parties. Anyway, I played this e-p often at the grad parties, and of course througout Chicagoland at the sets I played. The cut I most rocked was "Sinister". I just listened to an old tape I had recorded a mix on where I went from our Chicago Jams to a set of Detroit Techno. I went from "Uses Me" to "Illusion" to "the Chase" (by Juan Atkins) to"R-tyme" to "SINISTER". Almost brought a tear to my eyes. Man I miss the atmosphere those tracks were able to create. The new Music is good, but the classics are immortal.

Reese & Santonio - Bounce Your Body To The Box - 04-Feb-04 11:09 AM
This is a smooth e-p (as usual from Master Reese). "Bounce your Body to the Box" was the cut most rocked on WBMX and in the clubs in Chicago, however, "Force Field" was a welcome bonus, and "the Sound" is a groove you can never get enough of. From Blake Baxter to Rock to the Beat, I always got my moneys worth whenever I bought a record with the KMS Logo on it.

Jenny Burton - 28-Mar-03 09:22 AM
Jenny Burtons best dance hits from the breakin days of real Hip Hop, are "I Remember What You Like" and the flipside "Players". These cuts used to make the B-Boys go all out!!
