I love all kinds of house music, especially hardcore, hardtrance, trance, retro house, techno and dance.

I used to (and still) visit belgian clubs like Bar-Fly (Liège), Cherry Moon (Lokeren), Euphoria (Solières), eXm (Walhain), Extreme (Affligem), Illusion (Lier), Katsu (Heers), Metropolis (Harsin), Montini (St-Truiden), Sotto's (Zottegem), Zero 5 (Orp-le-Grand), ...

I also attended these big "events" (as they call them today): Cherry Moon Anniversary (B), Cherry Moon Retro Beach (B), City Parade (B), Decibel (NL), Hard Bass (NL), Hardcore Overdrive (B), Illusion Anniversary (B), Innercity (B), Megarave (NL), Project: Hardcore (B), Sensation White (B), Thunderdome (NL), Tiësto - Elements of Life (B), Tomorrow Land (B).

This is only a part of my collection I build since 1992. I add items to my discogs collection when I have some spare time...

Please, don't ask for MP3 files. I simply don't have time to record them.

Really sub par free cd. First track is a "Its gonna be alright" rip-off with different lyrics, track 3 is a Sashs "Encore une fois" wannabe and the rest is crap... But its free so the quality doesnt really matters... Does it?

Note the funny CD which is transparent with a big Coca-Cola bottle printed on it. It gives the impression that the bottle is floating in your CD player (well, depending on the model of course).

This is the last Mixmania mixed by Luc Rigaux but surely not the least! Well, it might even be the best in the series (no less)!!!
Of course, its packed with commercial dance hits so be prepared for some cheesy lyrics but despite that, nearly all the tracks are really good (which is rare on a compilation) and the mix is absolutely perfect. This represents the peak of the Mixmania series as unfortunately, the quality would go downward from the next issue on... Rating: 5/5.

"Do you wanna dance" is a great hardcore track (very energetic and typical of the "happy" era) but I was a bit shocked when I heard it for the first time since a whole part of the song (towards the end) comes straight from Fantasy by Phrenetic System, a Bonzai Records release of 1993 (B side of BR 93017)! The original really worthes a check! By the way, I wouldnt be surprised if other bits of this track are from various productions...
