Daft Punk - Something About Us (Love Theme From Interstella 5555) - 14-Feb-07 04:12 AM
Something About Us is one of the best love songs I've everheard. It's music and lyrics are so simple, but these are the things that makes this track essential. The video is a good one also, taken from Interstella 5555, but it's an edited version. Voyager is a good track, but I think it's too repetitive. Its remix is good, though.

Depeche Mode - Playing The Angel - 13-Feb-07 10:08 PM
Playing The Angel is the best DM album since Songs Of Faith And Devotion. It has a good concept (pain in various tempos or sth. like that), and the songs reflects the whole idea on the album. The opener, "A Pain That I'm Used To", and "Nothing's Impossible" (written by Dave Gahan) are my favourites. The only thing that upsets me in the album is the Martin-vocal track "Macro". Although it's still a good song, it could have been much better; and could have become one of the best DM songs which Martin is on the vocal.

A little note: Martyr (which is the new single for Best Of) was the first recorded track for Playing The Angel, but the album doesn't contains the song: Because DM thinks that Playing The Angel is such a dark album that Martyr is not a good choice to be on the album. I just can't understand that actually, because the 4th single John The Revelator is a fast-paced track either. Anyway, the album is very well and worth buying. 8.5/10.

Daft Punk - Discovery - 15-Aug-06 06:44 AM
After Homework, it was hard to make a better or equal work. But that's Daft Punk, they can surprise you easily (like Human After All). With a happier sound than Homework, the duo managed to make an equal (in success, not in sound) work. Except "Veridis Quo" and "Superheroes", I can give 5 stars to every track. Discovery is such a good album that you can listen to it 4-5 years after its release without any boring moment. Among these beautiful tracks, "Aerodynamic" and "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" are my favourites.

Placebo - Meds - 13-Aug-06 01:05 AM
At first, Meds is a decent album if you think about the songs one by one. The opening song, Meds includes great vocals, Infra-Red and Post Blue have catchy tunes, so as Song To Say Goodbye and Space Monkey -which is the best song in the album in my opinion-. But these songs just don't make Meds to be the best Placebo album. It just doesn't make you feel like "Without You I'm Nothing" or "Sleeping With Ghosts". Though, Meds still worth buying.
And a little note, Meds has a great CD and back-cover design. I just like it too much.
