Carl Cox - F.A.C.T. - 06-Dec-05 01:32 AM
OK, I'll hold my hands up, I am biased when it comes to this era of house music. It was an age when comps were released with some thought rather than the way the market is swamped today.

Cracking Techno and trance from Cox, so good it actually sold bundles and probably pushed Techno into a more mainstream market.

Loved it then......and still love it today!

Moby - Play - 12-Jul-03 03:50 AM
A very good album, which samples a blues sound with modern music. When Moby sticks to what his good at he comes up with an album like this. Shame it's been cheapened by overkill with 80% of the album used on commercial adverts.

Paul Oakenfold - Sessions Two - 11-Jul-03 02:02 PM
In my opinion the best of the sessions series. Personally I can't stand his music and I think he is one of the most over-rated dj's, but with a set like this all is forgiven.

Leftfield - Leftism - 11-Jul-03 01:51 PM
Possibly a life changing experience when I heard this album....yes it is that good. Confirmed that house, specifically progressive, was here to stay. Although 'Song of life' is the stand out track, '21st century poem' is a haunting track that completely moves outside of house territory and showed the level talent of Barnes and Daley. Sad that they split, but this is a testament to their fine work.

Massive Attack - Blue Lines - 11-Jul-03 10:59 AM
A great collaberation of Massive Attacks moody sound with Shara Nelsons haunting vocal.....stand out track - 'Unfinished Symphany', a contender for the geatest dance track of all time.
