This is a highly superior album of socially aware hip hop from Miami's Beta Bodega camp. To say the style is experimental is misleading, it's way more strait-up than most things on this label, one of my favorite albums of last year & full of heart & soul.
If you like Sierum/Manuvers/Dead Prez etc. then you'll love this.

Hard & uncompromising middle eastern beats, sadly no vinyl exists as I think it would go down better among DJ's (DJ /rupture et al) than a home listening audience. Glad to see this release of a hard to find recording.

Proper Jungle from back in the day, Remarc is one of the true innovators. Few people have cut-up amen breaks like this man did in the mid 90's, still sounding awesome - a real essential weather you were there at the time or if you dig the current ragga/Jungle revival - get yer education, he still blows most competition out of the water.
Aparently his brother Eksman has encouraged him to start DJing again too :)

Justa "Lil" Dope was also cained at 45, either way you remember those breaks & horns right? Another tune that inspired the early d scene.
