Dave hits the spot big time. This is a rockin' couple of cd's, I like the first one but cd2 is the bomb. Progressive, trancey, minimal, house, vocals...and even flamenco get thrown into a whirlpool of a mix, really fucken cool and funky. Threw this on at a party recently and everyone loved it...fucken A.
This is a fantastic follow-up to '2nd Season'. It starts out with a cool kinda spooky sound before moving gradually harder and harder and at track 10 'Sven Vath's - Steel' it absolutely kicks, it is without a doubt my favoutite track of the moment..in fact this CD is permanent fixture in my player at the mo. If you liked the other 2 prior to this, you are gonna love it. My only gripe is that there are a couple of bits when you can hear talking and the crowd, it is supposed to add to the whole feel but I dont like it. Excellent Sven, yet again.
Very classy Sven, very classy indeed. This is excellent stuff from Cocoon, really captures it perfectly. The 'Dias' CD is a mellow trip, a 'day' on Ibiza island but 'Noches' is where it's all at, I ask you to listen to this CD from the start and if you arent tapping your foot and nodding your head by the 5th track, well you probably need your hearing checked. There are some way wicked techno sounds on this piece of plastic, all layered beautifully in a way that only Sven knows how. This is probably the best music purchase I have made recently. Love this CD, own it.
This is the my favourite tune of all time. I remember the first time I heard it I experienced what can only be descibed as an aural orgasm. It just does not age at all this tune, it is an absolute killer track. This is the track you peak a set with, a floor-filler, you cannot go up from here. It starts with an urgent beat racing along before dropping to a piano riff to die for (god I wish I wrote that riff) and then comes in this noise which can absolutely not be described but has been sampled many times since, when it peaks it just takes your head off, it is a HARD tune, I fucken love it. If anyone can tell me what the dude is saying in the background please tell me, it's been playing on my mind for years.

If you call yourself a hard-house, trance or techno fan, do yourself a favour and hear this track.

I have been an Oakie fan for years and years. I bought this release about 2 years ago, I dont know what he was thinking it is just not the Oakenfold that we know and love. The first CD is unlistenable as far as I am concerned. It's like break-house/break-garage, awful. The 2nd CD is better, it's like hard-trance but really left-field, just not what you want from this DJ. Dont know what he was thinking, maybe bored with his usual, who knows? Avoid this one and but anything else by him.
Sasha has been around forever and is always outstanding but as far as I am concerned he gets it altogether on this release. Building layers on layers and sonic bass-lines before cascading into peaks as only Sasha knows how, this is what you want, quality...'let me hear that rhythm, movin' through your system'.
