BT - Mercury And Solace (Reach Out) - 29-Feb-08 07:49 AM
My alltime favourite BT release ever! Perhaps this was the release which really got me into trance music. Words can't describe how beautiful the original mix is. Jan Johnston's vocal suits soo perfect with the dark atmosphere of the entirely track. Always been a big fan of her voice, but this one still on nr1. I could really recommend to search and buy this record, must have for any vocal or even non vocal trance lovers.
Andain - Summer Calling - 29-Feb-08 07:39 AM
I think this one was in my wishlist for a long-long time! Gladly enough i found this one for sale on this site. The Josh Gabriel Mix was hammered by Dj Tiesto a million times, including on his brilliant In Search Of Sunrise 3 Mix CD. Because of that CD i started to love this release soo much. The vocals are beautifully sung by Mavie Marcos, and the lyrics are deep and dreamy. Really hard to get this CD but really something to watch for. Will never sell this one!
Solid Globe - Sahara / Kalahari - 29-Feb-08 03:05 AM
I just can't believe no-one did review this sublime track before! Sahara is by far the most original and well produced trance track in 2004! Always been a fan of Nic Vegter his production skills and this one should be considered to be his best! The main melody gives me goosebumps everytime i hear it. It's mixed with some fine computer generated guitar riffs which suits the track perfectly.
I still remember Armin van Buuren's old ASOT episodes. When he mixed this track into his sets you can hear it from miles coming. Thanks to the catchy intro chords Nic & Raz produced. A must have for every trance fan around!
Mat Silver vs. Tony Burt - Waimea - 29-Feb-08 02:55 AM
2004 sure was an awesome year for the trance scene. This release definitely approves my point! What a wonderfull track this is! I do prefer the Original mix by far from the others. Such an emotional uplifter with a great melody this is! The Alex Morph remix sure is a fine one too, but lacks the emotional factor from the original mix! Just re-discovered this release and can't stop listening to it!
A shame Above the sky didn't released any of them on CDr or atleast in Digital Download Stores. This is what trance music is all about!
Ferry Corsten - World Tour - Tokyo - 09-Jul-07 10:33 PM
This is one of the CD's which certainly got me into trance! Besides Tiesto's ISOS 3 this is a must have for all you guys/girls. Starts off with the best Paul van Dyk remix ever made, and ends with a true tech monster! When listened to it you will unfortunatly realise trance isn't anno 2007 what it used to be in 2002. Find it for your collection.
