I think "We Share The Same Dreams" stands well in comparison with the previous "That Much Closer To The Sun". It's true that this one is a bit more housey in general, but it still has great atmospheres and melodies - the magic is not gone :). The albums are similar in that both have many great songs and many not so great ones, but no bad ones.

After browsing through the songs on both albums, I can't really decide which one's better. However, my absolute favourite Abakus tune is on this one: "Opal Fountain". Simply beautiful.

This is a hypnotic compilation of trance of like I hadn't heard before. The song that got me interested in the first place was Stevie Be-Zet's Blue Illusion (this song circles around p2p networks as Orbital's). So I ordered it, and was surprised that the whole album was full of great music, dispite the diversity.

There's Superstring by Cygnus X for example, that I hadn't heard before (yeah, I'm sure anyone who knows anything about trance will chuckle about that one :P).. and another song by him plus a whole slew of other great trance tunes, that just don't seem to get old.

None of these artists are really big, besides Cygnus X perhaps, but none of the tracks are bad either. Highly recommended.

This is a very well made and interesting psy-trance album. It is mostly pretty laid-back and melodic for psy-trance - something that would probably be described as "morning trance" by many, although I'm not too keen on these kind of categorizations.

Well anyway, I enjoyed every moment of listening to this album. Most, if not all, of the tracks have a nice build towards the end, and they all deliver. Make no mistake though; this isn't anything revolutionary, or something that hasn't been heard ever before. However, this is an album that has everything done right. If you are a fan of this genre and prefer melodic and not too harsh kind of trance, you're sure to like this one too.
