Whirloop - 04-Aug-08 10:37 AM
Whirloop is definitely one of the most interesting producers that I have ever listened to. His productions are all different and full of surprises, but still you recognize the special sound of Whirloop. I have been listening to his music for almost five years now; he never seems to be pleased, constantly finding new ways of twisting his tracks to catch you in a trance. If someone in this more and more commercialized genre, he is the creative producer that inspires both other producers and listeners, while others seem to be looking to be as mainstream as possible. To quote himself: "I am a lonely crusader in a dying genre."

This is true trance as it is supposed to be: deep, progressive, epic, creative and non-commercial. If you havent discovered Whirloop yet, just turn up your speakers and get ready to fall in a deep musical trance.

Knife, The - Silent Shout - 17-Oct-06 12:33 AM
From the very first second, I fell in love with this album. The blend of different musical styles is perfect. There are influences from synth, progressive trance, melodic trance, ambient, house etc. I cant explain why, but it moves my ass, gets me singing and makes me happy. Simply electronic music at perfection.

Miranda - Northern Lights - 13-Oct-06 03:16 PM
This one is simply amazing. Aswell as the northern lights in a cold and wintery Sweden, this is true magic at its best. It is really hard to find this kind of powerful music today and I can never get tired of listening to it. Tracks like Anaesthetic, Gnocchi (Remix) and Feel the Effect drives me crazy.

Being able to produce this energy-generating, mindblowing trance makes Miranda the true goddess of the genre!

DJ Tiësto - Magik Five: Heaven Beyond - 10-Oct-06 07:47 AM
This CD must be one of the most underestimated mix-CDs ever released. The tracklist is excellent with killers like Airwave, Cryptomnesia, Eternity and Alone in the Dark. As being released in the beginning of 2000, it was overshadowed by the releases of Magik Six: Live in Amsterdam and In Search of Sunrise 2, two of the greatest CDs ever relased.

Yet, as mentioned in the beginning, the tracklist - also the mixing - is perfect; simply Tiësto at his best.

Alice Deejay - Who Needs Guitars Anyway? - 08-Oct-06 01:42 PM
Listening to this album certainly wakes a lot of memories. I was 15 years old when I bought this; most of the music containing a bassdrum and some catchy synthlines I thought was worth to call trance. Fortunately, Ive grown up since then and found out this album is a simple way for estabilished trance producers like Svenson & Gielen to make some fast extra money; there is no magic in the music except from the good memories it wakes. If you are looking for great CDs to buy, buy another one, this isnt worth paying for.
