Ozric Tentacles - 30-Apr-05 02:03 AM
Ozric Tentacles is a band creating "Space Rock" for about twenty years now. They have an interesting blend of Ambient, Trance and Hard Rock bringing you the best of both worlds in a superb way. If u like Electronics and Guitars this music comes highly recommended. They are also seen best Live, which proves they don’t need any studio tricks to create the music as they do. Some of my favourite songs are Sploosh!, Kick muck, Symetricum, Eternal wheel, Sliding and gliding and Erpsongs (live from Live Underslunky), but they have lots more and so far i haven't heard one song that i disliked. If u like the books "Lord of the rings" and "The hobbit" try reading them with Ozric tentacles as background music, it helped me visualize what i was reading and i find this music some sort of 'Hobbit music'
Entropy (2) - The Second Law Of Thermodynamics - 05-Mar-05 10:13 PM
For me this CD is an instant winner. Love it from top to bottom. Dark, hard and very twisted psytrance. Very tight production.Maybe a bit monotonous to listen the disc completely in one go. For me it depends on my mood. Ultra testosterone loaded stuff for sure :) 5/5
Black Dog, The - Spanners - 14-Feb-05 11:13 PM
The bolt parts that glue the tracks together are amongst the weirdest sounds i've heard. I found this CD in a shop halfway the nineties and i didn't know what to expect. It was my first meeting with the black dog, and i thought it was made by aliens from a far, nasty planet... Even today (2005) it remains one of the greatest masterpieces ever in electronic music.
