Bluetrain - Red Eye Dubs Vol. 1 - 11-Dec-03 03:48 PM
This is a Dub record in the truest sense of the word, i.e. Reggae. People who like Bluetrain for their stripped down minimal Techno cuts maybe crestfallen with this one. I love it though...
Night Writers, The - Let The Music (Use You) - 21-Aug-03 06:38 AM
Classic Frankie Knuckels song. Still sounds as good and fresh today as it must have back then. Regardless of all the good music being produced nowadays, House just doesn't evoke that mystic feeling anymore.
Jason Load Experience, The* Featuring Iyona - Mainline '90 - 24-May-03 06:59 AM
This is a remake or cover of Black Ivory "Mainline" which was arrangened or co-produced by New York disco phenomenon Leroy Burgess. The original version was hughe in the 80ies and allso a standard of deejays like Ron Hardy, Frankie Knuckles, Tee Scott, Larry Levan, Francois Kevorkian, Tony Humphries, Timmy Regisford et al. As far as I know that cover was also received with opens arms.
