François K.* - Frequencies - 03-Apr-07 06:23 AM
Frequencies covers the full spectrum of electronic music sounds that Francois K. currently plays when DJing around the world, from the delicate weaving textures of Matthew Jonson, Trentemoeller and Nathan Fake, passing through the dark introspective electronic soundscapes of Alex Under, Sleeparchive, Mark Broom and Jeff Mills, all the way to the full-on techno sonic assault of Marco Bailey and Suburban Knight. It also includes many of his favorite crowd-pleasing signature tracks such as Modeselektor "Kill Bill Vol. 4", Bando "Mike Input" and Joris Voorn "Zeronine".

CD 1 is filled with infectious, glitchy 4/4 grooves that are guaranteed to please trainspotters, heads and clubbers alike. CD2 is filled with cheeky, gritty electro and balls to the wall techno. The quality of every track in this mix is what will set it apart from all other in the genre. Francois K. is a master Selekta!

A reminder why we love dance music in the first place, Frequencies is a forward thinking party rockin mix, a mixture of underground hits and distinctive delights, while keeping one eye on the road ahead with a barrage of exclusives and special bits and pieces.
