Baby Mammoth, Beige (2) & Solid Doctor* - Fabric 18 - 15-Sep-04 11:51 AM
Dissappointment - the word that describes this CD. I dont know how this ended up as a "Fabric" CD. Jazzy, loungy, down tempo, saxophones, guitars, flutes... If this was the "Fabric Live" CD I wouldnt say anything... But it isnt! If you liked Mayer, Swayzak, Akufen, Slam, Radioactive Man, Tyrant... and all those other techno/tech-house/house/minimal/electro fabrics... skip this one. It just doesnt fit the "Fabric" series. I really dont know what were they thinking about when they approved this CD. Dont get me wrong, I dont mean disrespect to the artist, they for sure have their audience and fans, but as I said, this isnt "Fabric" as we know it.

Magnet (3) - Rising Sun - 07-Aug-04 10:20 AM
"Rising Sun" really sounds just like that! Imagine... Summer, 5 AM, open-air on the beach, the sun is coming out, but its not over yet... party goes on! A true "wake up" anthem, great stuff.

2 Dollar Egg - Graphit - 22-Jul-04 02:05 PM
I could never imagine this... micro-click-deep-tech-house in techno style(!!!)? with "old school" trance atmosphere and occasional goa "scream"! All that is A side "Graphit". Simply unbelivable. On the B side... The first one is on the same level as masterpieces from artists as Orbital & F.S.O.L., while the second is as sick & twisted as any Aphex Twin track. Gentlemen from 2 Dollar Egg, you should raise your price! To something like 2 Million Dollar Egg! ;-)
