Pure Polly_Esther - Stand Back - 04-May-07 03:05 AM
This is probably the best Stand Back cover I've heard, They conserved the original 80's vibe but they also used newer production tricks like the use of filters. The voice of the girl is good and does justice to the song. The arrangement is the same as in the original but for some reason I love how it was done, the sound quality is also ace, Its almost like hearing a remastered version of the Stevie Nicks clasic
It is very difficult to find this track I bought this one when I was traveling in Belgium and the song was played in the radio, it is a very rare record nowadays.
Angelmoon - He's All I Want - 19-Mar-07 11:06 PM
This song has magic on it, Altough it is in the line of commercial eurohouse it is not annoying, I can listen to it nowadays and I still enjoy the song, something that I think that helped was it wasn't overexposed (played in radio 24/7), The only bad point I could give is that the mixes are weak and far from the Caperry Boys Mix (which is presented as the original), the Caperry Mix is built over an awesome guitar riff and a good bassline, both sound like played "live", the lyrics are the cherry over the cake, at first sight they look cheesy, but some cheesiness is not bad every now and then, and sounds better with a great background.
Stardust - Music Sounds Better With You - 24-Oct-06 07:41 AM
After Bob Sinclar made "GYM TONIC" further releases of the song included the Anthem From Paris Remix Instead of Bob Sinclar's remix, this one, made by Dimitri from Paris and Bibi, is in my opinion the best remix for the song altough nothing can beat the original 12" version.
KMC (2) - I Feel So Fine - 15-Jan-06 06:33 AM
Probably the "Finest" benassi production, cheesy but very good song anyway, the Vision Version (Original) has a very cool arrangement, it uses a very deep epic sound that I've heard in other songs but it is mixed in a Tribal fashion, it "pulls you" like tribal music does.
Nalin & Kane - Beachball - 10-Jan-06 04:54 AM
Beachball is a real BIG Anthem, everytime I hear it, "Ibiza!" comes to my head, it was THE track there back in 97-98, when Ibiza had that special feeling, I think that feeling has changed in the last years, that spiritual thing that this track captures.
