Profile: Started collecting vinyl when i was 15 years old its my love and all i do-day in day out as i buy and sell it on the internet.
My influences at the time was Joy Division/The Clash etc and most indie/punk music then bad teeth Mr RYDER-Happy mondays but Ian Brown IS A HERO of mine.
Then came house/Hacienda and i travelled compiled and learned alot about music and also took inside information and all i could at the time of the late eighties and early nineties and shared many a happy night at the Angels in burnley e.t.c plus i learned what you class as retro which is cool but im a little cooler that and off surfing soon lol.put it all together and share it out, isnt it the best when you learn about decent music...
Ive djed all over uk and learnt my lesson..
My love now lies with old disco/funk and hip hop and most of all drum and bass but still a bit of classic house/sunset radio(only the people from them days will know).
Ive realised now all the best stuff is stolen from the likes of larry levan and david manccusso and just bands you would never expect i love to educate especially my new aim which is to direct children with disabilities etc into just any type of music that they love and makes them feel good. And also loads more so trying to stick to what i know best and keep to my good standards you just need to realise that all you like is stolen from past tunes...
I have one friend one here that i respect called Waxfindergeneral and put the spaces and dots in the name you will get there but hes the man and his sales list is spectacular...
Check it.......
Anyway fuck this im off surfing fuck ya see yaxxx

Reviews & Discussion:

I totally agree with the review above,at a time when everyone who had a drum machine was trying there best to put together a 12" with there cheetah drum machines and Roland 303s or 909s and when we all drove to certain car parks for after hours raves and partys in warehouses. When this tune came on it was a sure fire winner..
You cant fault the build up and it set me off on my tour to find venues that played this style(leeds and manchester)..
I remember carl cox playing this at the Angels in Burnley and dragging out the build up by doubling it up on the decks for ages and the Lads on the dancefloor going mental waiting for the Bass to come back in.Cause lets face it its a lads tune girls loved piano the lads loved 303s and twisted ruff beats back then...
It was where i was at anyway...
Easy
The Duck
Ive just found this in my collection of old hardcore and thought fuck me i will blow the dust off it and give it a spin..
I cant tell you how good this 12" is,it took me right back and made me crank the speakers right up.The breakdown on side A track 1 is fucking class and takes some beating.
Its almost Dj Hype in places. If you aint got this buy it as you wont be dissapointed.
A must buy if you collect the finer old gems from days gone by....

Ive just got this album via a friend and feel the need for a review is in order,i had never heard of Paul Johnson before and 1st i will start by saying, the people who are selling this should go turn their decks or turntable back on and give it another listen(unless they have two copies and feel the need to share which i fully agree with)cause otherwise they will regret the sale im very sure.
Most of this album is nothing but pure class in everyway.
Tracks to me that stand out the most are Summer Heat -I Wonder Why -The groove this track alone is worth buying the album for as are the rest.
If you manage to get this album lock yourself in a room free from wives or girlfriends and turn up your headphones loud and listen to each track-you wont be dissapointed.
If you are then go by bonkers vol 6 in tescos.
much love .
I have to toatally agree with the review above as it speaks nothing but truth and sense in the review of a great 12".
I got posted this 12" for my birthday a year or so ago and from the makers Miles and Gaz and from the moment of it hitting the deck it has hardly left the platter...
Few people still have the musical dialect to make quality music that fullfills the deep old sound that we all still desire from great producers like themselves. It shows that people still put effort and time into producing good music for the masses and it is fully for the love of it.
I was priviliged to catch miles djing in nottingham a few weeks back(pendle coven) and his skills in not only djing but in building a atmosphere was a special occasion.
I recommend anyone who loves music of the finer choice and style to buy this 12"
