Sixth Sense (4) - Everywhere / Livin' Force
May 08, 2009
Everywhere, like the artist's name, borrow's heavily from the film 'Sixth Sense'. And, like the film, this track is eerily dark and creates a lot of emotion, best played and experienced in a dark, sweaty room with a load of like minded people - it sparks great reaction from the crowd when played out. This was rare when released and was in high demand for quite some time. Still givess mee aa shiv-ver when I listen to it!

This is a wonderfully crafted record, it got many a reaction when played out, mainly because of both the funky chords and bassline, and the wonderfully enticing vocals. But just as good, even better, when played at home. I was so excited when I got this record, I still remember the exact time and place some 6 years on, and when that happens you just know its special. I still get that feeling now when I listen to it. Lee, what happened...?
Johnny Fiasco - Conduction
Oct 04, 2007
I've only just laid my hands (and ears) on this record, some 12 years after release and I can't believe this one slipped me by, its awesome, what an EP! All equally good tracks and, due to the amount of funk reverberating out of the speaker, it still sounds so good today! Mr. Fiasco was on fire in the mid-90's and, as 'baj' said, definitely one of the best on the fantastic Cajual label. If you haven't got it, get it. | ||||
