This album is pretty good.. a nice mixture of styles and very reminiscent of Lamb, albeit with a different vocal style.

The (female) singer sounds a bit like the woman out of Portishead at times, but not in that make-you-slash-your-wrists kind of way - she definitely has a great, smooth voice.

Compared to other DHR releases, this album is very patchy and tends towards shouty/screamy vocals mixed with beats you've certainly heard elsewhere on DHR. Unless you like angry feminist lyrics or annoying, shouty women you should probably look elsewhere within this label. I would recommend Fidel Villeneuve for the same level of intensity but less irritation.
