This release (aka Crazy Legs Vol 2) is a magical fusion of deep-house, nu-jazz and breakbeats with a pace that's not slow nor fast but juuust right. Very smooth and sophisiticated. A personal favorite of mine and one of the best Guidance twelves.

All volumes of these series came with a 192-page booklet. Full of interviews, pictures, trivia, etc. about the featured artists and the musical styles they represent, written with a sense of humor and creativity. In those times (before the internet existed) that was an incredible and unique source of information, something that's never been repeated by any other compilation as far as I know. Together with all those classic tracks from legendary artists, these releases are truly essential.

The "House of 909" collective also had their own label with the same name. They had 5 or 6 releases with catalog numbers: "HT00?". After that the "909 Boys With Style" label was started, with catalog numbers "HTC00?" but sadly discontinued after 2 releases. Other labels they've produced for: Expanded Soul, Pagan, Blue Basique, Alola, ...
