Profile: Been into dance music since the early 1990s, when I started buying vinyl and got myself a set of decks. Started with old school house and piano stuff then hardcore and happy hardcore, before settling down with trance and progressive.

Enjoyed the early raving days in tents and fields, then was a regular at Hanger 13 in Ayr with the odd trip down south to clubs such as The Die Hard in Leicester, Club Kinetic in Stoke and Hardcore Heaven in Milton Keynes

Closer to home, its been the Arches in Glasgow, and furthest from home its been Ibiza.

Having kids now has slowed down the clubbing and vinyl addiction, but not completely. Just need to get the little ones to follow in daddy's footsteps!

Brainstorm Crew - The Storm EP - 08-Feb-08 02:19 PM
Reach Up is one of my all time favourite old skool tracks. It starts with a nice mellow build up which speeds up until it is time for lift off. Then it explodes into female sounds and vocals accompanied by the traditional fast pianos. That may sound a bit on the cheesy side to some, but this is far from it. This is hardcore raving madness at it's finest. Absolutely fantastic and always one to bring back some very happy memories.

Happy Tunes / Midas - Rushin' On Pink Champagne / Imperial March - 27-Aug-07 02:42 AM
I have to agree - side B is my favourite too. When Imperial March begins and you here the Star Wars sample you expect the record to continue on this darker side of hardcore. However, the breakdown is heavenly and so unexpected. Absolute class.
