Profile: I am a senior from South Carolina, who couldn't live his life without music. I enjoy almost anything (with the exception of a few genres, one of which comes to mind is Country), but I have to say my biggest obsession is with Drum & Bass. Ever since I had the pleasure of hearing Dom & Roland's Midnight Club EP back in 2000, I have been an avid fan of this rather shunned form of music.

Omni Trio - Mystic Steppers Vol 2 Remix - 04-Apr-07 05:25 AM
One of Omni Trio's greatest defining songs gets a superb rework from the Foul Play crew on this release. The vibe is definitely uplifted ten fold and turned into an instant classic. And although Feel Better is the star on this vinyl, Step Off is a great song as well that is unfortunately overshadowed by its counterpart.

Hyper On Experience - "The Remixes" By Kaotic Chemistry & Foul Play - 03-Apr-07 06:24 AM
Lords of the Null-Lines is undoubtedly a classic hardcore track from Moving Shadow. However, the Foul Play remix is even more well-known and appeared everywhere back in the day. Thunder Grip is a decent track, but lacks energy in my opinion. It definitely doesn't compare to the X side.

Foul Play - Volume III Remixes Part 2 - 12-Feb-07 09:32 PM
This is Foul Play's best release, hands down, Showing what they are really about, they put up two incredible remixes, including another "Open Your Mind" one. Even though, can you ever get tired of such a great song, especially with a superb mix up by Nookie? But this vinyl's ultimate highlight is the "Finest Illusion (Legal Mix)." No discussion, this is one of Moving Shadow's best songs not only from the earlier stages of the massive label, but from recent debuts as well. This track is so insanely hardcore - if you are a Foul Play fan, Moving Shadow fan, or just a Drum & Bass fan in general, if you don't have this you are missing out big time!

Foul Play - Volume III Remixes - 12-Feb-07 01:19 AM
The first set of remixes of Foul Play's "Open Your Mind" is an awesome combination of two tracks. Tango's version really pumps up the energy of the original, completely turning out around from the tame version it once was. The second track reinforces the fact that the only way of topping Foul Play is by doing it themselves. The remix of their own track greatly improves on the original, giving it a more uplifting vibe and ending this vinyl with a bang. Definitely one of this trio's best releases.

Omni Trio - Mystic Steppers Vol 2 - 11-Feb-07 12:19 AM
Omni Trio's break-through masterpiece is an istant classic that set him on the map as one of the best breakbeat artists of all time. Mystic Stepper does exactly what it says in its title - it makes you feel good. With catchy synths and a rolling beat, there is no resisting this song. Stronger is a somewhat darker song backing up the X side, but dulls in comparison to this vinyl's highlight. Mainline is a fast-paced and infectious tune, accompanied by its slower, heavier remix which sadly doesn't differ much. However, any way you look at it, you can't deny this isn't the start of one glorious career.
