Profile: I've been buying records since 1990, since starting going clubbing in 1988, to clubs such as, amongst others, The Hacienda in Manchester, Kool Kat, Eden and Deluxe in Nottingham, Back to Basics in Leeds, Music Factory in Sheffield and my favourite club, Venus in Nottingham, whose monthly Flying nights were legendary in 1990/91. My tastes were set by the Flying nights, with DJ's such as Dean Thatcher, Andy Weatherall, Steve Proctor, Terry Farley, Rocky and Diesel, Brandon Block, Fabi Paras, Orde Miekle and the rest of the Flying/Boys Own crew playing an eclectic mix of balearic belters. My collection now stands at around 2000 or so and contains most of the balearic and house classics from the days of Venus, as well as many from before and up to the present day. I have yet to catologue this (seems too much like hard work!) I am now a part time DJ, playing a balearic mix for fun, monthly in a bar in Nottingham called Eleven. Come down - it's corking!
Reviews & Discussion:

A funky, saxy track which chugs along very nicely - was played as last track in Venus one night and went down a storm.

The best record to be released on Cowboy by a mile, a quirky track with a great vocal, they should have been releasing more stuff like this rather than getting stuck into the progressive dirge of the time.
A peach of an early electro track with a great vocal. Sound great with Herbie Hancock's Rock It.

Forget this was ever on the advert for that dodgy italian motor back in 1991 - this is a great little chilled house track.
Absolutely timeless, classic house track from Todd Terry based around a sample taken from one of Sergio Leone's spaghetti western soundtracks. Brilliant, must have track.
Awesome, all time classic. Builds up from a slow, moody number into something that blows the walls down every time. Great sample from Afrikaa Bamabata's Just get up and Dance. And a guitar riff from The Osmonds no less! Genius.
Fantastically soulful house record, an uplifting classic borne from the legendary balearic pioneers, Shoom.
Superb, soaring, classic house track, slow and powerful, an absolutely corking record that still sounds brilliant.

Cracking piece of soulful Latin house with a great workover by Farley and Heller. A real feelgood tune.
Excellent, chuggy, moody Weatherall remix that really builds - with great vocals and a powerful sample.
