This is the quintessential Flying Nun release. I have 95% of the Flying Nun catalogue in my collection and yet I keep coming back to this 7" single as my most important piece. Maybe its the Andy Waholesque Kiwifruit cover, so brilliantly designed and screenprinted by Ronnie van Hout. I know of eight different colour variations of this. I currently have four and would sell anything I own to get more. If you own this masterpiece, consider yourself very fortunate.

Its taken me 15 years to collect the entire catalogue from Ripper records. This is the complete record of all they produced. Its attainable, its achieveable and its totally satisfying. Oh, there are some sleeve variations out there. But as far as contribution to the "kiwi sound" goes. Ripper Records would have to rate, right up there with Flying Nun. Ill treasure my collection, to my dying breath and convert as many people as I possibly can to this fantastic group of releases.
