Reviews & Discussion:
I think Neo & Farina did a good job on remixing this awesome tune. Very close to the original but different enough to be appreciated. I agree though that this does not belong on a single sided white label record to be sold separately. Maybe an updated '04 remix from Oakenfold or Tiesto would have finished this vinyl off nicely. Good attempt regardless.

The Gabriel & Dresden remix is the best remix attempt to this awesome track in my honest opinion. I would of rated this a 5/5 but had to drop a point due to Waxman's Mix. I wasn't totally feeling Waxman's remix because of the tracks unbalanced layouts and iffy baselines. I was confused to what I should be feeling while I was listening to Waxman's version. The original puts you in that special ambient/chillout mood as to what Gabriel & Dresden did best on this remix. Waxman's remix had a tribal vibe that did not suit the original vocals, which threw me off guard. Take a listen and you should see what I mean.
This is a total disgrace to the original "Planet Rock" masterpiece. Oakenfold sometimes has the tendency to turn a great track into trash whenever it comes to remixing anything that was never meant to be. This is a perfect example. The Litman & Cox remixes are even worse with a weak bassline and cheesy samples to top it off. "Planet Rock" should never be messed with and these ripoff remixes proves my point.

This is not a Trance track as noted in the "Style" section above. This is 100% Disco House/Funky House. Kinda odd to see Ferry Corsten's name on this production. The original mix (Non Vocal Extended) is in my opinion the best, or at least the best sounding. This is one of Tsunami's earlier projects and they sure took a risk on this one. Please stick to what you guys are known for and best at, TRANCE!

Nothing really comes close to the original version of this unforgetable classic tune. Oakenfold did a ok job of representing the track, but it did not have that "special" something that made the original so unique. I just did not feel his remix and the connection to the original. The beats have been changed up dramatically, giving this remix an awkward feel. I am very much in love with the original version and if you are too, you should know what I'm talking about. The 2003 12" Version is a mess. The added piano tune overlaying the original sounds like a wreck IMHO. Stick with the original for now.

Everytime I hear this track, it makes me laugh out loud. I love the vocal sample Ballon used from the movie "From Dusk Till Dawn" of Cheech Marin talking about pussies (lols). The track is a bit on the cheesy side but that Cheech vocal sample is hilarious. =D

A great classic track. Angelic did a pretty good remix of this track. Jon Doe distroyed it with his "Tidy Traxx" style remix. The Moguai remix on the other hand is an awesome Progressive version of this track with deep throbbing basslines. Try listening to the Moguai Vocal Remix if you like Moguai's Instrumental Remix. Highly recommended.

IMHO, the Spaera Remix is one of the best remixes ever to be created from this awesome classic tune. Spaera kept it unique and very close to the original mix(which by far is the BEST mix). The CJ Stone Remix has a "trancy" feel to it, which I did not like. I do not feel this track as a "trance" tune which CJ Stone made it to be here. It came off weak to me and it did not deliver what this track should have delivered like Spaera did. It basically sounds like anything else CJ Stone has produced or remixed. Not very creative and very common.
