Ophidian - Absolute Evil / Black - 02-Nov-07 11:12 AM
Every time a new Cardiac Platinum Collection record is announces I keep my fingers crossed for any of these tracks. Both "Absolute Evil" and "Black" are marbles of musical engineering. Ophidian has always been ahead of his time and this record proves it. Original use of sounds and great arrangements create a dark and creepy atmosphere, this is how darkcore is supposed to be. Too bad this record was the last in the line of Supreme Intelligence.
DJ Mad Dog - Dangerous - 22-Aug-07 02:20 AM
With this record DJ Mad Dog put himself on the hardcore map for once and for all. "Dangerous" is a great party track with all the elements in proper place. The stomping kickdrums, nice synth and cool breakdown proved themself on the dancefloor. The same can be said about "Welcome Down", probably Mad Dog's most licensed track so far. It appears on almost every compilation and (live) mixed cd.
This record is completed with "Back The Fuck Up", my personal favorite. Again a great breakdown and a cool melody. Unfortunately "Back The Fuck Up" isn't spinned as much as the other tracks by the popular jocks around. Yet another reason for me to put it on the wheels!
Enzyme X - 26-Jul-07 08:48 AM
Allthough this (experimental) label is very popular, it's typical to see that the less experimental releases (mostly created by Endymion) are sold out a lot faster than the more experimental releases.
Because of the popularity of the label they also decided to create a 'DJ Enzyme X'. When this name is booked for a party, nobody know who will perform; it could be anyone who ever created a track on Enzyme X.
Chaosbringer - 24-Jul-07 12:49 PM
Great producer with an own unique style. Too bad he has discontinued his Chaosbringer project. He wants to focus on Moshpit because this project gives him more artistic freedom.
We can only hope he will change his mind in the future.
Enzyme K7 - 07-Jul-07 08:40 PM
K7 is another great label from the Cardiac crew. Most of the releases take some time to get popular among the most hardcore heads. Because of the fresh and innovative sound people have to get used to it, so it seems.
K7 gave birth to one of the biggest Enzyme floorhitters yet: Psychiatric Ass. Just like Prednison Attack and Butterfly VIP, this track couldn't be missed if you went to a hardcore party the past years.
