DJ Monk vs. Track Mack, The - Back 2 Tha Old Skool - 30-Jun-07 07:29 PM
This record is great to have in your "travel" collection. Features a great Chicago style hard house track with a breakbeat drop. The breaks version is just as good as the hard house. It has a looping vocal saying, "Taking it back to the old school". Monk and the Track Mack have a lot of good material that never sees the light of day, luckily this one did... grab it if you can find it. The infinite beats are a nice bonus to a great record.

DJ Magic Mike - Cowbell - 05-Nov-05 03:02 PM
The original version of this song is off the hook. Play this is the club and expect the floor to feel it. The KJ version gets a lot of play in Florida from what I hear - not a fan of it myself. Way too many drops.

This record samples Chrisopher Walkens Saturday Night Live skit with the Blue Oyester Cult where he talks about it needing "More Cowbell!"

Very Funny and very well done.

Richard Humpty Vission* - Never Let Me Down - 29-Mar-05 01:20 AM
Nice Groovy House track. A very Chi-town style vocal. Both vocal tools work great on top of funky & flitered house tracks. This was Powertoolsmixshow.com's #1 track in Jan 2004 and was featured on RHV's Big Floor Funk CD. The exclusive remixes of this available on iTunes and BeatPort.com are also worth checking out. Overall this is RHV attempt at a House Anthem and he falls short in doing so.

Goose (3) - Black Gloves - 23-Mar-05 01:23 AM
This track was originally released in 2001 then rereleased on 941 in 2004. Children of the 80's is one of Infiniti's best tracks. He breaks away from his dark break sound to produce one of the funkiest club stompers ever. Samples 80's beats all over the track. Championed by Icey, Eaze, Scuffelz, Scipio, Sharaz and many others.

Magic Mike & Infiniti - 2001 - 23-Mar-05 01:23 AM
Hip Hop pioneer, DJ Magic Mike, and the man on the cutting edge of the FLorida break scene, Infiniti, come together to release one of the greatest tracks of all time. This extremely limited record was the last record produced by the now defunct FunkWax label. The original mix is by far the best with a cyber sounding vocal, dope scratches, and dark bassline. This song is like and evil version of DJ Jean's "The Launch". If you don't own this record - find it! You can hear it on Baby Anne's 2nd Mixed Live effort from Moonshine.
