Scooter - Our Happy Hardcore - 11-Mar-05 12:38 PM
Belongs to the best releases of Scooter! A great mixture of commercial stuff (Let Me Be Your Valentine, Rebel Yell, Back In The U.K.), trance (Stuttgart) and really hard tracks. The tension increases gradually from the quiet "Stuttgart" to the Hardcore "Crank It Up" (190 bpm!). "This Is A Monstertune", "Experience" and "Hysteria" are really worth listening to, I doubt any would regret to know these great tunes. They remain my Scooter favourites for all time (together with "Waiting For Spring" and "Rhapsody In E").
Scooter - Mind The Gap (Regular Version) - 11-Mar-05 10:10 AM
Much commercial stuff, of course. But not everything is 'trash' at all. Trance lovers shouldn't miss "Trip To Nowhere", it is really an outstanding track! "Trance-Atlantic" follows a similar style but it can't compete with the bonus track. "Suavemente" is also interesting, a kind of Latin Techno(!) without H.P. vocals and - it is their new single (but this will include his stupid voice again, for sure)! Shake That and One are those typical commercial cover versions, nothing worth listen to. "Stripped" is a cover of Depeche Mode. Don't know if they changed anything on this track except of adding H.P.'s vocals... All I Wanna Do, also a cover, follows their former Happy Hardcore style known from "Back In The U.K." and reminds me of their better days. All other tracks don't deserve to my comment.
