What I like about all of Johnny Vicious' music is the good, old school, hard house, groovy, rhythmatic vibe behind his sound. This is music to dance in a club to, play at a house party, or listen to in your car. I'm generalizing because most of his releases are similar in sound and structure. Mental Euphoria (1999) uses the 303 for beats, a Roland Juno 106 synth for dreamy sweeps, and samples from X-Trax "Trippin Out" to complete an ecstacy-driven composition.

Listening Booth (2000) uses the same equip. along with samples from Jonah's "Ssssst....listen" to create a hard-driven techno track with piercing synth stabs.

Humidity (2001) is a more progressive track that builds into a driving slammer with eerie horns and crisp hi-hats.
