Profile: I fell in love with dance music in 1994 as a freshman in college and have been collecting vinyl and DJing ever since.
My first love was Chicago house, but now I collect and play almost everything. From house to techno, breakbeats, disco, drum-n-bass, trance, electro...you get the picture!
If you have any questions about anything in my collection, feel free to ask. Some of the stuff is for sale, and I would be very interested in anything you may have from my wantlist.
However - I am only interested in buying direct. PLEASE - do not e-mail me if you are listing something on ebay.

Blake Baxter - Sexual Deviant - 18-Jun-07 09:52 PM
This is a classic dark house track from Blake Baxter. I was fortunate enough to pick up a copy in NM condition this past weekend and am loving it. It is dark and sexy, a pumping classic techno/house/acid track from 1992. If you like good classic house / techno, this is a must have release. The Sexual Deviant mix is by far my favorite. An extended mix with extra tribal percussion thrown in to boost the energy of the track even more.
I want to hear this on a super loud system, in a packed, sweaty dark room with fog and flashing strobes.
DJ Aquarius - Shine 2000 - 02-Feb-06 05:25 AM
This is actually supposed to be a house track, which when played at the correct speed of 33 1/3 is horrible. However, switch the speed to 45, then pitch it down to about -6 and tadaa! A pretty damn good happy hardcore sounding track. If youre not a fan of pitched up / chipmunk style vocals, there is an instrumental mix as well...

Taylor - Anomaly_Calling Your Name (The Millennium Mixes) - 31-Jan-06 09:04 AM
This record is definitely a trance classic. All of the mixes are great, but the Ferry Corsten remix was probably the most popular. That mix was featured in the movie Groove, and can also be found on the soundtrack. Very uplifting, epic trance without being cheesy.
Patrice Rushen - Forget Me Nots / (She Will) Take You Down To Love - 14-Jan-06 05:29 AM
Nice classic disco track here. Send Me Forget Me Nots was sampled extensively for Will Smiths Men In Black song. The backing music is the entire music from this song, with a beefed up kick drum. His vocals even sound similar to the lyrics from this song.
4 Hero - Mr. Kirk - 09-Jan-06 09:04 AM
This is a true breakbeat classic, and one of the first records I ever owned. The vocal samples are from the original Star Trek series, "Mr. Kirk" "Yes" "Ive got some bad news" "Your son is dead" "He died of an overdose" "Energize" It also samples the sound of the transporter from the original series after Kirk says "Energize".
