DJ Sharaz - Booty Bomb / Crush Groove
Dec 28, 2009
A another great dance floor filler from Sharaz. This release is a bit longer than most of his other stuff with alot of fluff/ filler but it has some really great scratching and has always packed the floor for me.
DJ Sharaz - Lift Me Up

Various - Inevitable Alien Nation

Love the imperfections in this mix- makes it more real. I still listen to this cd 1 or 2x a month. Only way to kick back from the overhelming digital era of today. Most these tracks were played alot in the FLa Club scene, so most of us FLA club groovers knew the tunes when it came out and as were happy too see global support for our hometwon producers like Ed the red. this mix is not as smooth grooved has it is more breaks than beats but is still catchy and fun.
Superstar DJ Keoki* - Disco Death Race 2000
Dec 28, 2009
Sickest mix cd for its time. Most club kids or djs from my time will tell you that Disco Death Race was what started it for them. Including me! This cd was the first "Techno" i ever heard and i do not listen to much else since. I have been djing now for 12 years and producing for the last 5. I still listen to this and Keokis other mixes often and have been inclined to track down all the vinyl press of the songs for my personal collection. But I must say, most are not labeled correct even thou this list matches what I sprinted on the cd cover. Also note: If u like this cd it does not mean u will like all Keoki cds_he is a unique, collective soul that plays in the spectrum of dance / groove. But I highly recommend this one for eveyone! |
