Profile: This account hosts the first attempt "to build a definitive guide to all the unreleased old school stuff that floated around on DAT back in the day" (Ekto-Basilisk), and should NOT be used for any other purpose.

Everyone is invited to submit, including all members of the Goa / Psy-Trance forum. Please only submit information for tracks from the early 90's until 1999. Preferably, every user who submits/corrects information should be noted by his/her name, DJ name, Discogs or other (MySpace etc.) username.
How to submit
The Discogs submission form is used for convenience. For each artist an Add Release page is devoted. The only difference in usage of the form is that the total number of unreleased tracks per artist is entered on the "Label" field, for ease of reviewing from "Browse Collection" page. (This does not apply to EPs/albums which were designated to a label, but were never released.)
The preferred way is to copy to draft an existing “artist page” (or create a new one, for artists not yet in this directory), make changes and mail the link of the new draft to kwulf, using the Contact form. Once you see your “submission” in the directory, you are free to remove it from your drafts.
Alternately, you may send the information in an e-mail to the same recipient and it will be formatted accordingly.
Samples are much needed! (They are to be used strictly for identification purposes.) In the case of "no name" tracks (both artist and track name unknown), samples are mandatory. Preferably, a sample should be a 30-60 seconds long mp3 file (maximum bitrate 128). Now there is plenty of web space available to post hundreds of samples, so please be generous and provide them!
Please add as much information as possible, such as track times, extra artists featured, the source for your submission (Note: It is not mandatory to have the submitted track in your collection, you may also refer to a reliable source of information), comments on the music, trivia etc.
Many DJ's/collectors' DAT lists have misspellings, alternate titles, etc. Also, due to the fact that (potentially) all artists link to existing/forthcoming Discogs pages, broken/incorrect links may appear at some point. For the reasons stated above, all corrections are welcome!
