i like all of it, but my favorite stuff is techno, from the hardest of the hard techno to softer melodic stuff, it's a wide universe out there. All time highs might be Glenn Wilson, Thomas Krome, Ben Sims (esp. the Killa Bite series), Code Red label, Cari Lekebusch, Player. Coming from a Misfits/DK/Black Flag background it seems like a natural progression. I also have a penchant for old disco wax, and playing that stuff, out, esp. when the crowd is expecting techno. I have a huge collection of Midwest artists and labels (esp old Woody McBride/Communique), trying to complete a backcatalog and willing to trade and buy wanted releases. i have over 2000 records, many of which are not counted on this datebase, yet. if you dont see it ask. A chunk of my stuff is in cold storage up in MN, but I still have access to most all of my collection, if you see something you like, please ask. My mind is open most of the time.

This is a repress of CR 07 - Remainings II. It was repressed in late 2001, I bought my copy from Sonic Groove in NYC. It was limited to 50 copies only, but is a 100% repress of Remainings II, nothing new or different other than the white label. The style is typical of both Code Red, and Swechno of the period, clinky higher parts with shuffling synths on the bottom and punchy clear drum tracks.

Black Flag - Everything Went Black - 15-Oct-08 03:47 PM
This compilation provides an excellent collection of Black Flag tracks from the pre-Rollins era. Morris, Chavo, and Dez all added a unique character to the band, and this album makes it obvious. The progression of the band's sound is apparent, the multiple version of Gimme Gimme Gimme make it clear, but overall the listener hears the band's sound get more aggressive and faster as the LP progresses. Overall a great record to buy to see the progression of Black Flag as a band, prior to Rollins taking over in 1981.

this is my favorite user record ever, i am on my second copy already! the US side is amazing, full of thick gritty ass synth and a kick drum that thuds and pounds. flip it for another club bomb, with tons of percussion and that trademark user thump. this is the user must have in my book.

this record is insane! one side is a very smooth riding user track with a long flowing synth line. the a track on the flipside is a club workout with a great vocal that screams about suffering in bed. grab this if you see it!

Devilfish - Dealing And Stealing - 28-May-03 07:54 PM
wham bam thank you m'am! the A cut 'dealing and stealing' is great, but the real gems of this 12" are the two electro cuts on the flipside. true pants rippers. hard, fast, brutal electro.
