Sensorica - The Realm Of Fancy - 11-May-09 07:48 AM
Alexander Shukaev from Russia presents a wonderful chillout album. Though he oriented on progressive trance music production, this gem should not be missed. Deep emotions are all over this album. Tracks are organically mixed. Interesting and not boring approach to music show a hidden resources of this talented musician. His ambient experience was spotted in sountrack to successful russian RPG game "Cracked paradise". This soundtrack could be released as standalone album too. So i hope Alexander Shukaev will release in future more great chillout music, as he did on "The Realm Of Fancy". Recommended!
Phanatic - Outsider - 24-Aug-08 08:46 AM
Kfir Lankry from Israel presents his second album Outsider. And this work really shows something different on the overpopulated full-on scene today. Dancey, but not a crap, very melodic, strong basslines, uplifting sound, and funky! Phanatics unique style grant him own music face and style of production. After success of his debut album In My Head, second release is even more interesting. Collaborations with such musicians as Electro Sun, Bizzare Contact and Ananda Shake also a good reason to listen this amazing album. So i think full-on is alive with a few standalone projects, and one of them is Phanatic. Utopia Records continue to release good music. Enjoy!
Brain Damage (3) - Waiting For My Angel - 02-Jan-08 08:26 AM
Brain Damage is Vik Shagal from Israel. His music was already featured on a handful of solid and stable labels from around the world. "Waiting For My Angel" is a debut album from this talented musician. 9 outstanding tracks show bright and very melodic (but not cheesy) agenda of this release. Fresh ideas are sound very interesting and groovy. Brain Damages unique blend of flavors and colors is not something obvious nor common, seemingly incorporating deep hypnotic atmospheres, high dose of emotion, yet resulting with a strong powerful lift both for the dance floor and home listening. Album touching the hearts of Progressive Trance and Full-on lovers, with no doubt this is one of the best releases of Utopia Records. Enjoy!
Ten Madison - Grounded - 24-Jul-07 10:38 AM
With already 3 Albums on Millennium, Avenue, From Lust To Dust and Trouble In Rio, his brand Peter Jürgenss new chill-out pearl Grounded brings you back where it all began with Avenue. Irresistible electro grooves mingle with deep atmospheric sound and digital beats which can only be described as Ten Madison unique style. The musician shows great evolution in this release...new sound horizons opened, a higher stage of music production achieved. This album remains one of the best in chill-out scene today.
Rena Jones - Driftwood - 10-Jun-07 08:44 PM
"Driftwood" is the brand new full length album by seasoned studio musician and performer Rena Jones. It is an album of complex emotional depth, instrumental mastery, and tender attention to detail. Imbued with a sense of feminine grace, this album moves through textured and layered realms to pieces of touching mystery. Throughout, the album is graced by Renas cello and violin work, which makes this album stand out in a sea of records which tread the same ground. The combination of organic and electronic sounds blends seamlessly into an unforgettable musical experience.
