Anyone who got hooked on Code's excellent "Architect" album owes it to themselves to give this record a spin. This release isn't in the same class as "The Architect" however (there are too many underdeveloped tracks on it), but fans of Code who shell out on this disc will find great value for their money in "Moroccan Dip", "Minus One" and in particular "Mentor: Low Flying". The title of the latter may seem mysterious at first glance, but it's an excellent description of how the track sounds: A glowing meandering loungy Kraftwerkian groove (if Kraftwerk were to do a downtempo cover version of Autechre's "Doctrine" it would sound like this). At 10 minutes the song feels far to brief, it should just roll on and on and on...
