Turbo - 31-Jul-03 11:34 AM
Hitting the highs of house and down into electro (but gracefully skipping trance), Turbo has collected some truly "in the scene" DJs. The mixes are all worthy of purchase, and represent a pleasant recourse from the ever more soul syphoned mixs of todays big labels. Mainstays Jesper Dahlbäck and Tiga are worth every penny.
DJ Lafleche* - Montreal Mix Sessions Vol. 2 - 26-Mar-03 10:16 AM
Outstanding mix disc of funky and chunked house. The greatest part is that it really sounds like it was recorded from a mixer. There are no overt hints of Pro-tools, just honest to goodness mixing. Lafleche mixes from great stuff, left of Lego, right of OM!
Goldie - Timeless - 20-Dec-02 06:50 PM
Coming from a non-fan of d activity I can positively say this album still rocks. I never get tired of listening to it and the atmospherics work for almost any mood. The vocals are just like one big transcendental wave across all the cuts. Amazing work that beats out any of those Rings of Saturn by far.
Automatic - Gimme Your Love (Remixes) - 04-Dec-02 11:34 AM
Botellas remix works the vocal well. Steve Smooth turns the lights down and John and Richard give it the funk. Great dancin house and deep house energy.

Nkemdi* - An Invitation - 04-Dec-02 11:32 AM
The original is a pretty dark deep house tune with a pleasant low quality sampled sounding vocal. Derrick Carter kicks his mix up with a bit of funk. John Creamer and Stephane K turn it done, serving up a deeeep mix. Great set of mixes whatever the house style.
