D-Passion - Kind Of Rude - 31-Jul-06 10:02 AM
Although the pressing of Kind Of Rude was limited to 1,000 pieces. I bought my copy in the record store almost a full year after the release date. And in fact it was the first record I ever bought. D-Passion – Kind Of Rude is one of the reasons why I stopped listening to the more ‘mainstream’ hardcore and hardstyle. Every single track on this release is a masterpiece in my opinion. A1, Kind Of Rude still gives me shivers when I hear it on any CD compilation or DJ live set. The same goes for the B-side. B1, Blacklist Amok, and the IM Break Mix are both supreme creations by Rik Gieling, although the build-up is kinda like the partycrasher Ophidian – Butterfly VIP, D-Passion’s Blacklist Amok is better in many ways, maybe because it isn’t played as frequently, or as well known, but sure it’s one of my all time (D-Passion) favorite tracks. Track A2, A Promise To Keep, is what D-Passion should do once again on the Industrial Movement label, and I am still hoping Rik would release a record with the same, awesome sound that he put into this release. I would recommend everybody this record, but as hard it is to get your hands on (I might be have been lucky) as hard as it would leave my collection and recordcase.

Enzyme X - Mastodont / Safelight - 21-Jul-06 02:40 PM
The first Enzyme X release I got my hands on. And this one has some special things. According to the notes on Discogs some of the records has black spots on it. Mine doesn't have any, and (currently) I have two copies, odd...
Also Enzyme did something special with the date of this release. The actually added a release time! It first appeared online in the Cardiac Shop (Sector-1.com) at precisly 17:28.34, again something odd from the guys at Enzyme.
Once again a pounding release on the Enzyme X label, but deviantly not the best!

Hectic Fence - Blackmailing - 12-Oct-05 10:49 AM
I noticed this release just one day before the actual release, heard a sample of 'Blackmailing', and I thought "AWESOME" when i noticed D-Passion remixed this track, I got totally enthusiastic and added this record to my personal wantlist. First because I am a huge D-Passion fan, and secondly because I got the sample of his remix. The D-Passion Remix of 'Blackmailing' and YES this is real hardcore. Very nice techno-influences, and true banging beats. All four tracks have the same banging sound combined with techno-influences and hard raw and strong beats.

Lady Dana / Promo - Ladies First / I Hear Ya Comin' - 27-Sep-05 10:20 AM
Dana (Lady Dana)'s first solo track, Ladies First, is a true banging track, with a very nice build-up, and powerfull bass.
Together with Promo's 'I Hear Ya Coming' this 2 sides record, is banging! I Hear Ya Coming has a very nice vocal and a true raw beat. Really nice release! Very glad I got my hands on this one, finally!

Catscan - The Daylight Burn - 24-Aug-05 11:07 AM
The B2 track, dedicated to 3 Steps Ahead, is a very nice dedication to the awesome DJ 3 Steps Ahead, and perfectly fits in with the 'additional' remix title 'Love and Respect Remix'.
A great remix by Catscan and X-ess for the 3 Steps Ahead foundation.
The A1 and A2 tracks, are once again good productions by Catscan. I am very glad that I bought this vinyl afterall, mostly because of the B2 track. Really deserves my rating of 5/5
